Merry Christmas to All!! Today finds us at the home of Art, Kim and family. We were all up early this morning waiting for the cinnamon rolls to finish baking and after enjoying breakfast we began opening our presents. It is always fun to watch each one open their gifts and the excitement of what is received. After opening presents a turkey dinner was enjoyed by all. Later this afternoon everyone is relaxing/taking naps and just enjoying the wonderful Christmas Day. Hope you all are having a great day also!
A couple of pictures from Trisha in United Arab Emirates and the rest from Christmas Day at the Boucks
Hey Guys, I'm just gonna give you a headsup on what i have been up to here in texas! We have been babysitting 2 little boys one is 4 months old and on is 4 years old! We have moved to a bigger house and met the people around us!

This past weekend we had a great time in Branson, Missouri and Silver Dollar City. We arrived early evening on Thursday with our friends, Ed and Margareet VanOwuerkerk. We hurried into the City around 8:00 and were able to see the Christmas Carol in the Opera House. Glad that we went Thursday evening since there were so many people the rest of the weekend we probably would not have been able to see it. Friday we went to the Branson Belle Showboat for lunch and the afternoon show. It was GREAT!! The rest of the weekend we spent in SDC and enjoyed all the shows plus all the beautiful Christmas lights/decorations. Wish you all could have been there with us --- maybe next year!!!

This past weekend we had a great time entertaining 3 University of Texas football fans! Peter Bouck brought his two roommates to Iowa to attend the ISU/UT football and just enjoy Iowa! Mom and Dad Bouck, brothers Sam and Jacob and sister Libby also came for the weekend. We had a great time making apple cider, attending the football game, eating at Hickory Park in Ames and just enjoyed being with each other. It was a great weekend packed with lots of fun! (even though UT beat the sox off of ISU)
This past weekend was the 125th birthday of Huxley, IA and also the Huxley Prairie Festival. Dad and Mac rode the Century21 Signature Real Estate Float. They were a "hit"!
Thursday, August 16th was an important evening for our family. Samuel's Eagle Scout Court of Honor was held at First Evan in Memphis, TN. It was a very impressive ceremony with over 125 of Sam's family and friends in attendance to honor a very special Boy Scout. We pray that this will be a happy rememberance for Sam of a significant milestone in his life. As Sam said in his speech, may all glory go to His Savior Jesus Christ for making it all possible.
On Saturday, August 11th found Grandpa, Grandma, the Boucks, Uncle Lou, Aunt Pat, Zachary, and Sophie at the Iowa State Center for the Iowa Straw Poll. We had a good time watching the entertainment and eating free food!
Friday, August 10th found us all scurrying around getting ready for Grandpa's 70th birthday party. We set up the yard and prepared the food. We had fajitas, beans, several different salas, chips and cheese cakes for dessert. After dinner we were entertained with a Blue Grass Band. Grandpa, Uncle Lou and Aunt Pat also sang a couple of songs with the band! It was a fun evening and everyone had a good time.
