Memorial Day and Bridges of Madison CO With Friends From California

Memorial Day 2013 we have long time friends from our days in California visiting us for a couple of days. We decided to take of tour of the Bridges of Madison County and what a fun day we have had. We were able to tour four of the six covered bridges in the area of Winterset, IA.

Emma and Sarah's Baptism - Sunday May 19, 2013

Sunday evening we had the privilege to attend the baptism of Emma and Sarah Spelling. Their church has a potluck at one of the church member's home before the baptism. Grandpa was given the privilege of baptizing both of his granddaughters, Emma and Sarah.

Jordon's graduation party was well attended with 125 family and friends attending to honor her. What a wonderful time of celebration with great food (Tracy smoked delicious pork and brisket for "Saucy Southerners" and fellowship. Congratulations Jordon!

Mother's Day in Germantown, TN

After we all traveled home from Knoxville, TN we spent Mother's Day in Germantown with Art and Kim. The Spellings then left on Monday to travel back to Texas and we left on Tuesday to help get ready to celebrate with Jordon for her High School Graduation.

Sam's Graduation - May 9-11, 2013

May 9-11, 2013 found us in Knoxville, TN for Samuel Luiken Bouck's graduation from the University of Tennessee. Sam received the honor of Summa Cum Laude and placed second in his Architecture class. Congratulations Sam - we are so proud of you! Tracy, Sonya and family traveled from Texas to be with Sam during this wonderful time of celebration also.
