Christmas with Trisha

Monday night we were able to enjoy a quiet evening with the fireplace going and Trisha's opening her belated Christmas gifts. A fun evening sitting around the fireplace. By 10:00 we were all ready to get to bed after a rather long/early morning! Wow does she look tired!!!

Waiting for luggage

Some more pictures of the home coming of the "Knights"! Even dogs were there to welcome home their master's! :-)

Trisha Safely Home

Trish arrived back at Tinker AFB (OKC) safely Monday morning at 2:00 a.m.! Gpa and I were waiting for her on base. We had to wait in a auditorium at their squadron until the troops were all bused to that building. It was after 2:00 a.m. when they finally arrived. What a wonderful reunion to see families reunited after a long deployment. We then had to wait until all the luggage was unloaded from the airplane and brought to the squadron. After loading and saying good-byes to fellow airmen/women we took Trisha home to her abode. We didn't get to bed until after 4:00 a.m. so sleeping in Monday morning was not a problem for the three of us!

Each of the children have their own interests and we enjoyed watching them experience them. Jordon, Sarah and Maggie love the computer, Luiken likes to climb and Levi seems to enjoy digging in the flower beds! Emma is the garment creator and loves to dress up! Each wonderful in their own right. Sadly we had to say good bye!

During our time we enjoyed relaxing, working and enjoying the grandchildren. We enjoyed being in their new home and grateful for all the room that they are enjoying. As you can see we are looking forward to summer and a swim in their beautiful swimming pool!!!

New Years Visit with the Spellings

We were privileged to be able to spend time with the Spellings in Texas and helped Maggie and Levi celebrate their birthdays. We had a great time also celebrating a late Christmas. Gpa was able to spend time building in their new home during our visit. It is always fun getting to visit and help out.
