Friday, July 30, 2010 We were privileged to attend the Air Force Pinning On ceremony for our daughter Trish at the Navigator Headquarters in Colorado Springs (Glen Eyrie). It was a beautiful day with family and friends attending this momentous event.

Vacation in Eastern TN and Dollywood

The first of July we traveled to TN to meet our family there and enjoy a few days with everyone in Eastern Tennessee to relax and have fun in Dollywood. Our grandson and grand niece are working there with the Navigators. Fun to spend time wth them and enjoy the sights and beauty of eastern Tennessee.

Marc and family have settled in Anchorage, AK where Marc has taken the position of Deputy Commander of Aviation and Airports. They are enjoying all of the activities in that great state.

4th of July Events

We have been celebrating the 4th of July with a couple of fun events. Wednesday evening we went to hear the Air Force Band at the Ames Middle School. Then Thursday evening found us in Des Moines at the Yankee Doodle Pops event with the DSM Symphony. Always fun to attend these events with friends!
