A slow day in Iowa

This tree (A Pin Oak) was so pretty yesterday I couldn't resist taking some pictures.

As you can see things are pretty slow in Iowa these past few weeks! When it rains I paint inside and when it is nice outside we work to get ready for winter.

International Harvest Party at the Greenfield's Farm

Saturday after the football game we drove to the Greenfield's farm north of Jewel to participate in the ISU International's Harvest Party. There were hay rides, rides on the new combine, visit to the pig confinements, games, and making home made ice cream. There were over 210 internationals from 22 countries represented. It was a wonderful time interacting with these precious people from all over the world. What a great opportunity to interact with them in this way.

Saturday Football at Jack Trice Stadium- ISU

Saturday was a big football game day with ISU playing the Univ. of Nebraska. Well the score did NOT come out the way we would have liked but the day was absolutely perfect!

Hard at work!

Redecorating

Since nothing exciting has been happening here in Iowa I decided to step out of my box and add some color in the house. Here is the result!
