Our grandkids in Texas just welcomed new puppies the other day. Their English Bulldog, Jelly, gave birth to seven puppies. They are doing well and I am sure the kids would love to be able to keep ALL 7!!!
On Saturday, July 19th, we accompanied friends who work with the International Students from Iowa State University to the Minneapolis Museum of Arts. It was a most wonderful and enriching experience being able to interact with these wonderful students from China, Hong Kong, Turkey, Bangladesh, and Italy. We had a great time at the museum and then a walk to the river near the Gold Medal Flour, Philsbury Flour mills and the new Guthrie Theater and the I-35 bridge that collapsed last summer. A long trip for one day but worth every minute.
Wishing all a very blessed and happy 4th of July. We have so much to be thankful for in the freedom of our country. Thanks also for those serving to keep us free!
On Saturday,June 21st, our children, grandchildren and extended family honored us with a fantastic celebration for our 50th Anniversary at the Air Force Academy Officers Club. It was a most wonderful celebration of our years together. Thanks to everyone for making it such a memorable day!
On June 20th we attended Mark and Erin Watson's wedding at the Air Force Academy Chapel. A beautiful day and wedding. Last picture is A & K with their flower girl of 25 years ago!
Today it was so pretty outside that I couldn't resist taking some pictures of all of the snow in our yard. We have had snow almost every day this week so there is probably about a foot of snow out there. Sure wish our southern grandkids were here to enjoy it. Gpa needs to get the sledding hill ready for a "run" or two!
