Camping for Jordon's 18th birthday

We loved floating down the river, swimming, fishing, and swinging on the rope swings.

After a long day of swimming, we'd come back to the camper, clean, up hang around the camper, and have a delicious dinner!

Hard to believe coming from Iowa but our kids in Texas were enjoying an early year swim in their pool on a 90+ degree day!

Visit to Blue Bell Creamery

On to Texas for two more birthdays. To celebrate our daughter's birthday we traveled to Brenham, TX to tour the Blue Bell Creameries. What a fun adventure to see where Blue Bell Ice Cream originated and be able to see the actual production. A fun day spending with our family and some of their friends!

Sixteenth Birthday Party

We have been on our "February Birthday Tour" Traveled first to Tennessee to celebrate our granddaughter, Libby's 16th birthday. A great party with several of her cousins and school friends. So much fun to see our grandchildren not only getting older but also growing in their love for Jesus!

An Adventure to Blue Bell

While grandma and grandpa visited Texas, we decided to call up a couple of our friends, fill up our fifteen passenger van and take a little road trip down to Brenham, TX, to visit Blue Bell Creameries, and take a tour. After our tour (which we were not aloud to take pictures on.) We each got a free scoop of ice cream. There were so many flavors to choose
from, it was so hard to pick! Eating our delicious ice cream! After we were all done looking around in the gift shop, and finishing our ice cream we all loaded up into the van, and rode on home.

Friday evening (Dec. 30) David and Lisa hosted a dessert event for family and friends in campus town, Tuscaloosa, AL. A fun evening getting to know Fernanda's family from Brazil and college classmates of Fernanda's and Grant's. Today (New Years Eve) is the big day for their wedding.
